WHAT I LEARNED: What we defend against we make real. I have to be careful which windmills I tilt at!

MTG – Longwood – “Pathway To Life AFG”

WHAT I LEARNED: How liberating it is to be in a very small group where I can share for 20 minutes straight about all the stuff I haven’t been able to say for quite a while! Whew, that felt good! 😮‍💨 😌

WHAT I LEARNED: Without humility, there is no progress.

WHAT I LEARNED: My freedom comes when I look at me.

WHAT I LEARNED: Time takes time.

WHAT I LEARNED: Years from now, people won’t remember what I said or did, but they’ll remember how I made them feel.

WHAT I LEARNED: Acceptance does not mean I need to take ownership.

WHAT I LEARNED: I have to make sure I don’t mistake forgiveness for tolerance.

WHAT I LEARNED: I need to remind myself to be grateful for the negative things in my life, because they are what get me off my butt to do a Step 3 & turn it over!

WHAT I LEARNED: 1. Anger is the wind that extinguishes the light of reason. 2. My current location is not my final destination.

MTG – Altamonte Springs – “Seminole AFG”

WHAT I LEARNED: Caregiving is loving. Caretaking is dysfunctional.

MTG – Oviedo – “Listen & Learn AFG”

WHAT I LEARNED: Sometimes in life I feel like a robot… but in meetings I become self-aware. I guess I was just running on artificial intelligence before I got a Higher Power.
