WHAT I LEARNED: Since alcoholism runs in my family, it was not my choice to be a carrier of the disease. However, it IS my choice to be a carrier of the message!

WHAT I LEARNED: Sometimes mispronounced words makes me hear things differently – for example: A) Step 1: We admitted we were powerless over alcohol – that our lives had become unimaginable. B) Step 5: Admitted to God, to ourselves, & to another human being the abstract nature of our wrongs.
