WHAT I LEARNED: 1. Tradition 4 is about protecting Al-Anon for future generations.
2. When applauding an alcoholic’s total years of sobriety, I am actually applauding God’s work!
3. The opposite of addiction is not sobriety, it’s connection… Connection to a Higher Power.
4. Sometimes I need to put butter on it… & “let it slide!”

Thanks for the comments on the Tradition 4 workshop. I thought that District 10 folks did a great job, and I really liked all the discussion. The convention was wonderful – even just for a day – that was enough for me – so inspired me – kept me up late afterward, but the next day I was grateful to be chairing a meeting. Also thanks so much for the info on Convention 2018. It’ll be close to home!
Yeah I’m happy the convention is going to be in Orlando as well next year!! I’ve already got it on my calendar… Whoo-hoo!
