MTG – Celebration – “Celebration AFG”

WHAT I LEARNED: 1. My alcoholic dad has been dead for 3 years, but that elephant in the room is still alive. 2. What would my world be like if I treated everyone as if they were an Al-Anon member? 3. I’d watch a sitcom called “Al-Anon Knows Best!”

MTG – Orlando – “Courage 2 Be Me Alateen AFG”

WHAT I LEARNED: Sometimes mispronounced words makes me hear things differently – for example: A) Step 1: We admitted we were powerless over alcohol – that our lives had become unimaginable. B) Step 5: Admitted to God, to ourselves, & to another human being the abstract nature of our wrongs.

MTG – Orlando – “Serenity Now! AFG”

WHAT I LEARNED: 1. Giving genuine compliments helps me focus on the positive.  Because complimenting the negative is just sarcasm. 2. If I’m throwing jabs at someone, does that make me a jabelin thrower? 😉
