This
“Blueprint for Progress” (item # P-5) booklet (or more specifically a tool) for doing a 4th Step inventory came out in 1976. Gradually, as time went on, it was felt that this original version didn’t go deep enough & I can see why – many of the questions can be answered with simple “yes” or “no” responses.
The booklet is broken up into 6 sections (each about 5 pages long): Attitudes, Responsibilities, Self-Worth, Love, Maturity, & Character Traits. While it’s a short enough book that can be read in one day, I doubt it can be worked that quickly! It made me aware that I still have a lot of work to do on self-worth & the last personal reflection about maturity on page 34 needs to be blown up to poster-size & put on my door so I see it every day before I go out!
Still, although I don’t sell as many of these original booklets compared to the larger spiral-bound workbook that came out in 2004 (which added 17 more sections – whew!): “Blueprint for Progress: 4th Step Inventory (Revised)” (item # P-91), this smaller 62-page booklet does still keep selling because it’s about half the cost & a much less scary way to start the search fearlessly.
