My life before Al anon for me had a mirror reflection. If others thought I was good, then I had value. i felt good. However, I became indignant if they didn’t recognize my importance and value. How’s this for a twisted nind? 🙂
Now I know I have value if nothing more, I’m a child of God. Al anon has taught me this that no matter what others may say I’m proud of who I am and my opportunity to evolve for the remainder of my life.
Well said! Thanks Sharon!
